Simultaneous and consecutive interpreting are becoming vital in multilingual communication, especially in contexts such as international conferences, diplomatic events, and business negotiations. These interpretation methods require interpreters to demonstrate high levels of accuracy, linguistic fluency, and cultural awareness. However, each technique comes with unique challenges that may hinder effective communication. This article examines fundamental challenges interpreters face, such as linguistic and cultural differences, psychological pressure, vocabulary limitations, and technical issues, and offers solutions like training, vocabulary enhancement, cultural knowledge, and technological skills. Additionally, the paper explores techniques like localization, transcription, and generalization, and concludes by examining trends in AI and machine translation that may shape the future of the field.
