This article examines the integration of machine translation (MT) tools into intercultural communication practices in Uzbekistan. The study highlights the benefits and limitations of MT in multilingual interaction, emphasizing its role in fostering linguistic accessibility, reducing communication barriers, and supporting educational and professional exchange. Special attention is given to the cultural, linguistic, and pragmatic challenges that arise when MT systems process Uzbek and other regional languages. The research draws on contemporary approaches in translation studies, computational linguistics, and communication theory, referencing both international and Uzbek academic discourse. The findings suggest that MT can significantly enhance intercultural communication when combined with human expertise, cultural competence, and continuous technological improvement.
