This study explores the representation of national identity in English and Uzbek tourism texts from a sociolinguistics perspective. It examines the linguistic strategies used to promote culture, focusing on lexical choices, evaluative language, and cultural references. The analysis shows that tourism discourse not only provides information about destinations but also constructs and “sells” cultural identity to different audiences, reflecting both global and local perspectives.
