Abstract

This article examines various strategies for enhancing vocabulary acquisition in the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. It synthesizes current methodologies from contextual learning and active engagement to the use of modern technological tools like mobile apps and virtual reality. The literature review highlights the importance of integrating vocabulary learning with cultural elements, personalized feedback, and other language skills to improve overall language proficiency. Future research directions include the exploration of neurocognitive approaches and adaptive learning technologies. The article aims to provide EFL educators with diverse, effective strategies to improve vocabulary teaching and foster a deeper understanding and usage of the English language among students.
