This article explores the role of AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants in language learning. It analyzes their capabilities, benefits, and limitations through literature review and functional comparison. Chatbots offer safe, personalized, and accessible speaking practice, while virtual assistants provide real-world interaction. Advanced AI tutors further enhance engagement through adaptive dialogue and grammar feedback. Though not a substitute for human teachers, these tools effectively supplement traditional instruction and reduce learner anxiety.
