For ages, scientific and medical research has relied heavily on animal experimentation, which has led to many advances in biology and healthcare. However, discussions over its usefulness and future are becoming more prevalent due to growing ethical issues and the quick development of digital technology. With an emphasis on the use of digital technologies in scientific research, this essay offers a thorough methodological study of animal testing. It looks at the benefits and drawbacks of using animals in experiments and investigates other strategies such big data analytics, computer simulations, artificial intelligence, and in vitro techniques. A systematic methodological framework for integrating digital technology into research procedures is suggested by the study. The results indicate that although it is not possible to totally eradicate animal testing in the near future, digital technologies provide a viable, moral, and effective approach to reduce and eventually replace it.
