Ushbu maqola jahon va o`zbek tilshunosligida ikki tillilik va ko`p tillilikning rivojlanish dinamikasi, lingvokulturologik tadqiqotlarning nazariy va metodologik asoslarini tahlil qiladi. Shuningdek ko`p tillilik tushunchasi, globalizatsiya jarayonidagi o`rni, zamonaviy lingvistik tajribalardagi ahamiyati hamda ko`p tillilikning ijtimoiy, madaniy va ta`limiy jihatlari ko`rsatib beriladi.
