This article examines the impact of social media on the modern English language. It analyzes how platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter(X), and Telegram contribute to the development of new vocabulary, slang expressions, and abbreviations. The study also explores changes in writing style, including simplified grammar, informal communication, and the use of emojis. Furthermore, the article discusses both the positive and negative effects of social media on language, highlighting its role in making communication faster and more creative, while also raising concerns about the decline of formal language standards.
