The article investigates transposition within the framework of the functional-cognitive paradigm and states its role in the language system. At the same time, the study analyzes the cognitive mechanisms of transposition and the views of linguists. On the other hand, it is emphasized that the representational characteristics of language materials can be objectively determined using digital methods.
