This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the practical significance of linguistic and philological research in modern language education. In the context of globalization and digital transformation, the process of language learning has shifted from traditional memorization-based approaches to more interactive and communicative models. Linguistics, as a scientific study of language, offers structured knowledge about grammar, phonetics, and semantics, while philology focuses on cultural, historical, and contextual dimensions of language use. The integration of these two disciplines allows educators to design more effective teaching methodologies that address both accuracy and fluency. The study emphasizes that linguistic knowledge enhances learners’ structural competence, whereas philological insights develop intercultural awareness and contextual understanding. Furthermore, the article examines how modern technologies and innovative teaching strategies contribute to the practical application of linguistic and philological research in classrooms. The findings suggest that a balanced combination of these approaches significantly improves students’ communicative competence, motivation, and overall language proficiency.
