Writers employ stylistic methods, sometimes referred to as rhetorical devices or figures of speech, to infuse a document with ideas, meaning, or emotion. These strategies aim to captivate the reader by using imagery, focus, or clarity. Literary devices to convey ideas or rhetorical tactics to persuade can both employ stylistic devices.
