This research paper explores the etymological stratification, functional evolution, and translation methodologies of borrowed terminology within the Uzbek economic, financial, tax, and trade discourses. The study evaluates the four main translation and adaptation approaches into the Uzbek language: transliteration, calque, descriptive translation, and equivalent substitution. It also methodically divides these borrowed terms into functional dimensions-static structural framework vs. dynamic operational systems. The findings provide localized solutions for translators, lexicographers, and financial analysts striving to balance international terminology standardization with the linguistic integrity of the Uzbek language.
