This article examines the problem of lack of interest and motivation among students in the educational process. Special attention is given to the decrease in students’ participation in English language classes and its negative impact on their academic performance. The study analyzes themain causes of low motivation, including insufficient use of interactive teaching methods, unengaging learning materials, and students’ psychological factors. Furthermore, the article suggests effective pedagogical strategies and modern approaches aimed at increasing student engagement and creating a supportive and motivating learning environment.
