This article explores the code-switching in bilingual communication and tries to explain why people mix languages when they speak. It focuses on different reasons such as social situation, identity, emotions, and sometimes the lack of exact words in one language. This article also describes its main types and showing that it is not a weakness but a natural and effective way of communicating for bilingual speakers.
