This article examines the transformative role of technology in English language learning and teaching. With the rise of digital platforms, mobile applications, artificial intelligence (AI), and virtual communication tools, language learners and educators now have access to diverse resources that can enhance learning quality and engagement. The article explores the pedagogical benefits of technology—including personalization, accessibility, interactivity, and motivation—while also addressing key challenges such as the digital divide, technological dependency, and the need for digital literacy among educators and students. Through a critical review of current trends and tools, the article highlights the importance of integrating technological innovations with sound educational practices to foster effective and equitable English language acquisition.
