This article is devoted to examining how the study of literary genres affects students’ creativity and writing style. Literary genres provide students with a variety of language structures, themes, and stylistic models. Exposure to diverse genres such as poetry, drama, and narrative fiction enables students to think creatively, expand their vocabulary, and develop their unique writing voice. Drawing from several scholarly sources, the paper highlights how genre-based instruction and the use of literature in the classroom can significantly enhance the creative writing abilities of students.
