This research examines the teaching of stylistics within literary translation education, with particular focus on the Uzbek context. The paper analyzes challenges in preserving stylistic features during translation, drawing on examples from Uzbek and world literature. It explores methodologies for teaching stylistics, strategies for enhancing students' linguistic competence, and approaches to developing stylistic awareness. The study proposes pedagogical innovations to address identified challenges while acknowledging the unique aspects of the Uzbek educational environment. This research contributes to discourse on the intersection of stylistics, pedagogy, and translation studies, offering practical recommendations for developing stylistic competence in translation education.
