Modern English teaching is focused not only on grammar and vocabulary but also on communication skills. Communicative activities help students use the language in real-life situations and increase their confidence during lessons. This article discusses the role of communicative activities in English language teaching and explains how interactive methods improve students’ speaking abilities. The research is based on pedagogical literature and classroom observations. The results show that pair work, discussions, role plays and group activities make lessons more effective and motivate students to participate actively. The article concludes that communicative teaching methods create a more positive and productive learning environment.
