English has become one of the most influential global languages in the twenty-first century and is widely used in education, science, business, and communication. Learning English as a foreign language is therefore essential for many learners worldwide. It provides significant benefits, including access to global knowledge, improved academic performance, better career opportunities, cognitive development, and enhanced communication skills. However, learners also face challenges such as linguistic interference, pronunciation difficulties, limited practice opportunities, and language anxiety. Overall, the study concludes that although these challenges exist, the advantages of learning English outweigh the disadvantages when learners apply effective strategies and consistent practice.
