This article examines the impact of social media on mental health. It focuses on the negative effects of excessive use of social networking platforms, including stress, depression, anxiety, and decreased self-esteem. At the same time, the study highlights the positive aspects of social media, such as facilitating communication and strengthening social connections. Based on the findings, recommendations are provided to minimize negative effects and promote healthy usage habits.
