This study examines the effectiveness of interactive activities in teaching Academic English to university students in Uzbekistan. In the context of modern educational reforms, enhancing students’ language proficiency, engagement, and critical thinking skills has become a priority in higher education. Interactive methods, including group discussions, debates, role-plays, collaborative projects, and problem-solving tasks, provide opportunities for active participation, practical language use, and the development of higher-order cognitive skills. The research highlights how these activities influence students’ motivation, academic performance, and confidence in using English in both spoken and written forms.
