This article examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into English language teaching (ELT), emphasizing its pedagogical benefits, practical applications, and emerging challenges. It explores how AI tools—such as adaptive learning systems, automated writing evaluation, speech recognition technologies, and content-generation platforms—enhance personalized learning, support learner autonomy, and reduce teacher workload. The article analyzes AI-supported development of vocabulary, grammar, writing, speaking, reading, and listening skills, while also addressing ethical concerns related to data privacy, digital inequality, and overreliance on automated feedback.
