Greek word-formation elements play a crucial role in the development of modern English terminology, particularly in scientific and academic discourse. Many English technical terms are constructed using Greek roots, prefixes, and suffixes that provide semantic clarity and international recognition. This study examines the structural features and derivational productivity of Greek elements in English vocabulary. The research focuses on the role of Greek roots and suffixes in the formation of scientific and technical terminology. The study applies descriptive and comparative linguistic methods to analyze the functioning of Greek derivational elements. The findings show that Greek morphemes remain highly productive in modern English and continue to serve as important tools for lexical innovation in various academic fields.
