The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly impacted the learning of foreign languages. Digital technologies offer new alternatives in the teaching of foreign languages. The purpose of the study was to examine the impact of digital technologies in the acquisition of foreign languages. The study also examined the innovative methods used in the acquisition of foreign languages. The study was done using the literature study method, comparative study method, and observation study method. The study established that digital technologies have significantly impacted the acquisition of vocabulary, listening skills, learner motivation, and learner autonomy. The study established that the use of innovative methods such as the integration of traditional methods with digital methods and gamification in the acquisition of foreign languages is significant. The study established that the integration of traditional methods with digital methods in the acquisition of foreign languages is comprehensive. The study established that the acquisition of foreign languages using digital technologies is modern.
