This article examines the close relationship between language and culture and emphasizes the important role of cultural components in foreign language teaching. Language is viewed not only as a means of communication but also as a reflection of a nation’s traditions, worldview, values, beliefs, and patterns of social behavior. The paper analyzes how cultural meaning is expressed through vocabulary, phraseological units, speech etiquette, and communicative norms. Special attention is given to the concept of linguacultural competence and its significance in the process of learning a foreign language effectively. The article also presents practical ways of applying a linguacultural approach in the classroom, including the use of authentic materials, proverbs, idioms, role plays, discussions, and culture-based tasks. It is argued that the integration of language and culture in teaching helps learners develop not only linguistic knowledge but also intercultural awareness, communicative sensitivity, and a deeper understanding of the target language community.
