This article explores the importance of developing intercultural communication competence (ICC) in foreign language education. In an increasingly globalized world, understanding and respecting other cultures have become essential for effective communication. The paper discusses practical approaches to integrate cultural content into language instruction, including the use of authentic materials, role-play activities, interactive digital platforms, and culturally relevant scenarios. It also emphasizes the role of teachers and institutions in fostering a multicultural learning environment. The study presents both theoretical perspectives and practical applications implemented in real classrooms to assess the impact of ICC-centred teaching.
