This paper explores productive methods and approaches for teaching a second language to university students. The aim is to assess innovative strategies that develop linguistic competence and communicative skills. The study employs qualitative analysis to identify key techniques and methodologies. Results reveal that communicative, task-based, and content-based approaches, silent-way, audio-lingual method provide crucial improvements in students' performance. These findings underline the necessity of adapting modern teaching methods for higher education.
